Our Purpose
The Massachusetts Quarter Horse Association (MassQHA) is organized for the purpose of educating youths and adults about the American Quarter Horse, its temperament and history; to promote the best interests of Quarter Horse owners, riders, and enthusiasts, as well as the breed; to promote and encourage breeding, performance and competitions involving the American Quarter Horse within the Commonwealth, and to encourage sportsmanship and youth activity.
The reason for gathering over 50 years ago? The same reason we do today – to enjoy and promote the Quarter Horse breed throughout Massachusetts!
Showing, trail riding or just a Quarter Horse fan? MassQHA has something for everyone!
With two shows, our Ride Program, an active Youth club and more, MassQHA is the place to be! Interested in getting involved with the club? Contact us for opportunities to volunteer!
